When Brigitte's Shield Barrier is destroyed, the shield takes 3 seconds to recombine, and then heals at a rate 75 health a second. Rally is able to dish out 300 armor over 10 seconds, but allies, including Brigitte, are capped at a maximum of 100 armor per person.

Overwatch’s new hero is Brigitte Lindholm

New Overwatch hero Brigitte is a support and a tank. Fans familiar with the lore of the game will already know her from the 'Dragon Slayer' comic and Reindhardt's 'Honour and Glory' cinematic. And while she is fully playable on brigitte overwatch abilities, Blizzard are yet to reveal any of her skins, voice lines or other cosmetics. Still, we know her full moveset and background story, which we have broken down for you below. However, instead of a hammer she uses a rocket-boosted flail which gives her a nice bit of extra range compared to other melee characters. Her passive also means that while she is damaging enemies with this, she heals allies close to her. Her Whip Shot then deals a large amount of damage and knocks enemies back - this is especially erffective against airborne opponents. And another similarity to Reinhardt is she has her own shield. Hers is much smaller but she able to bash enemies - dashing forward and stunning if she connects. This makes her exceptional at dealing with 'dive' heroes such as Genji, D. With Brigitte around, it will be much harder for them to find their targets. If you don't believe us watch what Shanghai Dragon's pro player Geguri did to this unfortunate Genji player. Brigitte's is targeted similar to Zenyatta's but heals in one large hit rather than over time and has a cooldown. If she heals someone to higher than full health, the difference is given to them in armour - showing that she has still learned some things from her father. Backstory As we mentioned earlier, Brigitte is the daughter of Torbjorn. Her lore reveals that she was the first of his children to take an interest in engineering. While Torbjorn was world renowned for the weapons he created, Brigitte was fascinated by creating armour and defensive systems. Her Godfather is Torbjorn's good friend Reinhardt. We knew the German soldier and Brigitte were close from Reindhardt's cinematic in which she can seen asking him to not rejoin Overwatch. Her lore follows on from this story and reveals that she stepped on the battlefield with him, becoming his squire. She realised that in order to help him, she needed to be there during the battles, not just before and after. She previously had been helping Reinhardt, maintaining his Crusader armour and protecting him from his own overenthusiasm despite his old age. Realising that wasn't enough, she built her own set of armour and had Reinhardt train her in brigitte overwatch abilities.
